It’s been a number of years that I’ve been waiting & hoping to be a mother on Mother’s Day and so I’m excited to celebrate my first mother’s day as a mom!
I am grateful for a wonderful mother who has always loved me unconditionally and whole-heartedly. Mom, you’re the best!
I am so grateful for the little bucket of joy I get to take care of each day as his mom. Joshua, you’re a delight and I love watching your joyful exploration of the world around you.
I am grateful for my hubby for partnering with me in raising Joshua and for supporting me to stay home with him. You’re my bobo and that says it all.
I am grateful for my mother-in-law for truly making me a part of her family. I love you Jackie.
And last, but not certainly not least, I cannot forget my gratitude to another mother, Joshua’s birth mom. It is her gift that has made me a mother and I am beyond grateful. What can I say but “thank you”?
Joshua and I recently visited Washington to visit family and here are a couple of photos from our trip that seemed timely for this holiday!
Rarely do both of our families get together so it was fun to have my mom and mom-in-law in one place!
my mommy-moo and my buddy-boo!

Happy Mother’s Day, Kara!! If the LOrd tarries, maybe you’ll get to be a grandmother. It’s even better, if you can imagine – right, Carolyn??
