Why Adopt?
• We believe it’s a picture of God’s heart and how He has adopted us.
Ephesians 1:4-5 “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”
• We want to partner with God’s heart for justice and the fatherless.
Isaiah 1:17: “Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.”
• We’ve been trying for several years to get pregnant. Although we believe we will eventually get pregnant, we want to start our family out by adoption.
• We believe that if the Church wants to see the ending of abortion in our nation that it must be done with compassion and a willingness to be an answer to the problem of unwanted pregnancies.
